It is so beautiful! This is my first experience with Orthodox architecture but I have to say that I love it! It is free to enter and take photos. The vibe there is so divine and religious, which includes a lot of colorful and ancient paintings about stories in Bible.

Nice church, very quiet.

Its a marvelous piece of architecture. The frescoes however, although not bad, do not represent the orthodox belief doctrine in total. There are some western "Christianity" influences, such as the representation of the Christs resurrection (exiting a tomb with a flag)... The biggest fail is in the dome where you can spot a beam of light from Christ to the Holy spirit, making this a Filioque problem (The symbol of the faith difference with the Roman Catholic church)...

Saint Clement of Ohrid(Климент Охридскиwas the best student of Saints Cyril & Methodius, who continued and developed on with their work.Clement was instrumental in ensuring the enlightenment of Cyril and Methodius wasnt lost and he brought a Slavonic influence to the teachings, defining the identity of the Orthodox Churches.Saint Clement of Ohrid was founder of the Slavic literacy and Slavic culture in Macedonia and also, the founder of the first Slavic university in Ohrid. Saint Clement of Ohrid is the first Slavic writer.

Great experience. Amazing church and beautifully decorated from all sides. From the moment you walk in thru the gigantic wood doors, you feel the atmosphere change. The whole experience makes this a must visit site.

Very interesting curch. Unusual architecture and worth of visit. It is very big and spacious from inside, it has 2 levels for attending the curch for any occasion. Only disadvantage is that curch shop is not open on sundays and you cannot buy things if tou go to visit during the day. Very sad..

Absolutely beautiful Orthodox Church with amazing icons and peace

I liked the unique architecture of this Cathedral. I visited it twice, once in the evening, when I was the only visitor there, and once Sunday morning, when there were other people, but not to many. So a good relaxing place. The entrance is free. A must visit in my opinion when in Skopje.

The people here became agressive when they saw me taking photos of the church (on the outside, without trying to go inside. I am a tourist and a photographer. Looks like people from Macedonia tend to be violent or agressive when they see a camera. This is not a good thing for tourists. Some people in this country live in a different century.Just be aware of this issue in Macedonia, if you are photographing churches, some people might come to you and start screaming.

Peaceful place in the heart of the city where you light up Candle up for the living and your prayers and below for the desisted. This is the main orthodox church in Macedonia and in the capital.Every morning around 830 there is a small liturgy where you can join in.

Not my favourite. Too big. There are smaller, but mlre beautiful churches in the country.

The main Ortodox church in Skopje build in early 1990s. It is not historical place, and probably not the most beautiful church in North Macedonia, but it is very nice spiritual place in the center of the city.

The sandwiches are delicious, although sometimes the q line is very very long! However, the taste at the end is really that is winning :-)

Beautiful architectural design.The round forms are so well thought, and inside is refreshing to see a new perspective of a church.The paintings and the glass work are really amazing.Inside the building the peace and silence are breathtaking.Im not a fan of churchs, but if you come to the city, you should definitely come here and admire.

Well it is very beautiful and is worth stop by to see the church!!! It is one of many churches in the city and it is the largest cathedral in Macedonia!!! It is one of the symbols of Skopje and one of most significant places you need to visit while you are in the capital city of Macedonia!!!

Designed by Slavko Brezovski. Construction began in 1972 and was consecrated on 12 August 1990, on the 1150th anniversary of the birth of St. Clement of Ohrid.

I have seen churches on 6 continents and many countries. This one is very impressive and breathtaking. I was in awe at the size of the massive chandelier and the smaller ones. The art work on the ceilings and walls are outstanding.
